Swimming is useful for both the body and the mind. Swimming is a sport that needs moving through the water using your arms and legs. The young and the old can practise it. Swimming as a sport includes national and international competitions that are held at athletic clubs. You can also enjoy swimming as it may keep you calm. When you swim with your friends in a pool or even in the sea, you enjoy your time and feel great happiness

One of the best Egyptian sports champions in history is Rania Elwani who was born on 14th October 1977. She started swimming at the age of six. She swam for Egypt at 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympics. She won 77 medals in Egyptian, African, Arab and international competitions. She stopped swimming in competitions in 2000/ She finished her study of medicine in 2004. Rania always wanted to be a winner. She achieved this through a lot of hard work.
